Copy of Passport with Entry Visa page

While moving to Saudi Arabia, you must have a photocopy of original passport along with the entry visa page. These documents would confirm your identity as well as authorize you to make entry into this Middle East country.

Original Bill of Lading (OBL)

The bill of lading is an authenticate documents that is issued to a shipper by the carrier that lists the destination port, nature, and quantity of the goods. It is also a shipment receipt at the time of goods delivery by the carrier in the Saudi Arabian boundaries.  

Detailed and Valued Inventory

Your detailed inventory list must be properly valued that means each item should be listed with its value for the reference of the customs officials at the destination country’s port. This is mandatory as all goods are subject to thorough inspection.

Ensure that no prohibited items are listed on the inventory list as importation of prohibited goods may be considered as attempt to smuggling and result in heavy penalties, confiscation, or imprisonment. So, don’t forget to go through the list twice or thrice before final submission.

Purchase Receipts for Electrical / Electronic Appliances

You must show the purchase receipts of any electronic and electric appliances to the customs officers. In case, you don’t have these receipts the customs authorities would do the assessment of goods on the basis of the local value of the appliances.

Attested Letter of authorization by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce

If you are a government employee then you must submit the letter of authorization to the Russian authorities, which must be attested by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce. This would give you the permission to collect the sealed consignment from the port.

You will be provided with the format of this letter by the agent upon your arrival at the destination.

Copies of Residence Permit (Iqama)

Whether you’re moving to the Middle East country for work, residence, business, or study, you must obtain the residence permit. A copy of the resident permit is needed at the time of relocation to Saudi Arabai.

Copy of Diplomatic Id / Passport (Diplomats)

To verify that you are a diplomatic staff member of foreign, having a photocopy of diplomatic ID and diplomatic passport  is must when moving to this country.

Customs Duty and Inspection Exemption Certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Diplomats)

Diplomats must acquire the exemption of duty and inspection certificate from the Ministry of     Foreign Affairs before making a move to Saudi Arabia otherwise the consignment will be applicable for a physical inspection and customs duty payment.
